The Smokin' DOT's Radial Racing Mustang

I bought the Smokin' DOT's 1991 Mustang LX coupe in January of 1992 for my wife to drive. We were a two Mustang family at the time until I decided that I would give up my beloved '88 for the need of a truck. Off came all the modifications I had installed on the '88 and on they went into the '91. But even with the same modifications, it just wasn't as quick as the '88, so I got on the phone and ordered A-trim supercharger from Vortech. Yes, the A-Trim - it was the only centrifugal blower offered at the time by Vortech . The blower made the car come alive even more so than the '88, so the stage was then set for the development of the car to what it is today .
Over the years, the car has had multiple changes and upgrades from different cubic inch motors that range from the stock displacement 302 to a 347 stroker, then to a 383 with all forged parts to a 357-inch Dart. Currently, the engine is still based on the Dart block and measures 350 cubic inches.
